Been a while since we've updated the site. Everything has been handled through Myspace for the most part. Just wanted to let people know that we now have CDs and T-Shirts for sale DIRECTLY through our website now. No more going through CDBaby.com anymore if you don't want to. You can also now buy official Litany for the Departed ringtones. Additionally, be sure to visit our contact page and sign up for our mailing list! Please fill out all of the blanks as this will make show promotion considerably easier on us. Finally, we are currently holding drummer auditions... again, but we have some REALLY promising candidates so we'll hopefully have an announcement to make in the coming weeks.

Just so no one sees our current light schedule and thinks the wrong thing, we would also like everyone to know that we are currently taking some much needed time off in October but rest assured that we will be back full force in November to melt your faces off.

That's about all for now but Mike now works from home so expect to see this site attended to more regularly from now on... we hope. Mike is kind of lazy sometimes.

Lots of stuff to report!

Litany has finally found a new drummer. We have welcomed Mark Trevino to the Litany fold. Mark is a talented drummer and will be the backbone that helps drive Litany to new heights!
We have managed to scorea mini Texas tour with Hurt and will be melting the following cities with them:
June 5: Ft Worth - Lola's
June 6: Lubbock - Jake's Backroom
June 7: Austin -Momo's

Litany for the Departed on a film soundtrack!

Litany has been selected to appear on the soundtrack for the upcoming metal music documentary Behind the Suit and Tie. The film is being distributed by Energy Music Films and the soundtrack will be packaged with the film. The is Litany's first chance at national exposure so be sure to check out the film as soon as it's released!
